Partner 

Zeba Nizami is a partner at Markovich Grover. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Houston. She then earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of Texas School of Law. There, Zeba was on the Interscholastic Mock Trial Team and focused heavily on developing her litigation skills. She also served as a Phi Alpha Delta Mock Trial Coach and was a membership director for the school’s Board of Advocates. She obtained legal experience from the U.S. District Court—Eastern District of Texas—Beaumont, working closely under the Honorable Judge Ron Clark. She also obtained litigation experience from the Travis County District Attorney’s Office and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. 

Zeba’s practice includes employment law, Defense Base Act and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act claims, and general civil litigation, including related appeals. Her practice also includes the Texas Workers’ Compensation Act, where she obtained administrative trial experience over the years garnering a significant number of wins before the Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation. She emphasizes strategic, results‑driven advocacy that balances aggressive representation with cost efficiency, achieving favorable outcomes when sought by her clients.

Zeba is licensed to practice law in Texas and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
