Sima Shahlaee

Associate Attorney

Sima Shahlaee is an associate attorney at Markovich Grover. Sima earned a Bachelor of Science in Global Hospitality Leadership from the University of Houston and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. While attending law school, Sima was the vice president for Women’s Law Society and a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. She was recognized as a presidential fellow and awarded the Deans Merit Scholarship. Sima also completed a 40-hour mediation certificate.

Before joining the legacy firm as an associate working alongside the founders, Sima interned with the Harris County Courts and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts. Sima’s practice now focuses on the defense of claims in connection with the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Defense Base Act.

Sima is licensed to practice law in Texas.
