Rebecca earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University with a double major in History and English, and a minor in Art and Architectural History. She then taught for three years before enrolling in law school. 

Rebecca earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center, where she received the Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy from the State Bar of Texas Appellate Section and the Order of Barristers. During law school, Rebecca also clerked with the Honorable Laura Carter Higley in the First Court of Appeals in Houston, before joining the Markovich Grover founders at their legacy firm.

Rebecca focuses on claims stemming from the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, the Defense Base Act, and the War Hazards Compensation Act. She has substantial experience in trying cases through formal hearings and briefs before the Office of Administrative Law Judges. Rebecca has also drafted numerous appellate response briefs that have been submitted before the Benefits Review Board and federal court.

Rebecca is a current member of both the Texas Bar College and the Garland R. Walker American Inn of Court.

Rebecca is licensed to practice law in Texas.
