Rafaela Bani

Rafaela Bani is a partner at Markovich Grover. Rafaela received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Justice in Albania. She worked at the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Prefect of Vlora managing property disputes on behalf of the Albanian government. When she moved overseas, Rafaela received her L.L.M. in U.S. Law from the University of Houston. She practiced family law before joining the founders at their legacy firm. Rafaela has handled over 100 Defense Base Act and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act claims, including acting as lead counsel at trial before the Office of Administrative Law Judges.

Rafaela was a speaker at the 2024 Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference.

Rafaela is fluent in Albanian, Greek, and English.

She is licensed to practice law in Albania and Texas.
