Naseem Shahlaee

Associate

Naseem Shahlaee is an associate attorney at Markovich Grover. Naseem earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Texas A&M University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, Naseem served as Head Senior Articles Editor of the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy and was recognized on the Dean’s Honor Roll. She also served as Treasurer of the Association of Women in Law and the Energy and Environmental Law Society.

Prior to becoming an associate, Naseem gained experience in insurance defense, federal workers’ compensation, and civil litigation through her work as a law clerk. She also interned with the Harris County District Clerk’s Office, where she gained insight into court procedures and the judicial system. Naseem’s practice focuses on the defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Defense Base Act.

Naseem is licensed to practice law in Texas.
