Michelle Whitley is a senior partner and one of the founders of Markovich Grover.  While in undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas, Michelle was a member of the Chi Omega fraternity, Lambda Alpha Anthropology Society, and voted as Senate member of the Associated Student Government and served in the Cabinet as Director of Readership. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the South Texas College of Law and worked there as a legal research assistant.

Michelle was of counsel at a few different firms before starting at Markovich Grover’s predecessor back in 2016. She has proven to be a skilled litigation attorney and a powerhouse of the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and Defense Base Act sector. She has experience as not only lead counsel before the OALJ, BRB, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, but also as a supervisor over a team of associates, paralegals, law clerks, and legal assistants. Michelle performs astute research of complex legal topics to determine the best practices and positions for her clients.
