Michael Nunn

Associate 

Michael Nunn is an associate attorney at Markovich Grover.

Michael developed a deeper understanding of litigation and the judicial process while interning with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit under Senior Judge Denny Chin. His prior legal experiences included entertainment law, intellectual property law, and New York State Workers’ Compensation law. Michael is enjoying the insurance defense realm in which he defends federal workers’ compensation claims arising under the Defense Base Act. 

Michael attended Brooklyn Law School, where he was Public Relations chair and Attorney General of the Black Law Students Association. He also served as a research assistant to Employment Law Scholar Professor Shirley Lin, where he refined his research skills, contributed to scholarly publications, and independently authored his own works. His piece, “Clearing the Fog: The Importance of Pay Transparency in Remedying Wage Discrimination,” was published on the Human Rights at Home blog. During his undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin, Michael was a member of the Black Student Alliance, the Circle K Service Organization, and of the Texas Infinites Spirit Group as recruitment chair and member of the service committee.

As a Type 1 Diabetic, Michael and his family are active advocates for diabetes research, participating in the annual Breakthrough T1D Walk for a Cure.

Michael is licensed to practice law in New York.
