Marina Kaghado

Associate

Marina Kaghado is an associate attorney at Markovich Grover. She attended Seton Hall University for both her bachelor’s degree and her Doctor of Jurisprudence. Before joining the founders at their legacy firm, Marina worked as a judicial law clerk under the Honorable Scott T. Rumana in the New Jersey Superior Court’s Criminal Division J.S.C.

Marina’s practice focuses on defending claims arising under the Defense Base Act from their inception. When settlement is not the client’s preferred outcome, she has represented employers and insurance carriers in formal hearings and via trial by submission before the Office of Administrative Law Judges. She also has continued defense of claims through appellate proceedings before the Benefits Review Board. Marina plays a key role on Markovich Grover’s War Hazards Recovery Team, assisting insurance carriers in pursuing reimbursement from the U.S. government in cases arising under the War Hazards Compensation Act.

Marina is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Texas.
