Lauren Wilson is a senior partner and one of the founders at Markovich Grover. She also serves as treasurer. Lauren has spent over 15 years in the Defense Base Act (DBA) sector, managing a diverse docket of complex DBA, Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, and Texas Workers’ Compensation Act (TWCA) cases. She brings extensive trial experience across formal hearings, contested case proceedings, briefs, and arbitration, and has secured millions of dollars for clients through subrogation litigation under the TWCA.

Lauren earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences and Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Alabama, summa cum laude and cum laude respectively. During law school, she worked for NASA at the Kennedy Space Center Office of Chief Counsel, where she helped write multimillion-dollar governmental contracts and drafted legal memoranda on various topics from federal acts to environmental issues. Following graduation, Lauren served as a legal editorial assistant at Jones McClure Publishing. There, she drafted, edited and verified content for various O’Connor’s legal books, before starting her legal career as an attorney.   

Lauren has addressed audiences at a range of events, including the Florida Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference, Harmony Claims Management Conference, Lorman Education Services, and countless training sessions on behalf of clients. 

Lauren is admitted to practice in Texas.

Lauren brings extensive trial experience and has secured millions of dollars for clients through subrogation litigation under the TWCA.
