Joel Ponce

Associate Attorney 

Joel Ponce is an associate attorney at Markovich Grover, where he focuses on defending claims under the Defense Base Act and obtaining reimbursement under the War Hazards Compensation Act. He earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Before joining Markovich Grover, Joel practiced immigration law with an emphasis on  removal  defense cases and previously worked for the Internal Revenue Service. He is fluent in English and Spanish and conversant in Mandarin.

Joel is licensed to practice law in Texas.
