Associate Attorney 

Cristina Hernandez is an associate attorney at Markovich Grover. She received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University, where she majored in Political Science and International Affairs, with additional Certifications in U.S. Intelligence Systems and Emergency Management & Homeland Security. Cristina was also a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and FSU Mock Trial Team during her time at Florida State University. She went on to earn her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, with an additional Certification in Advocacy. Cristina also participated in Loyola University Chicago School of Law’s Foreign Advocacy Program.

Cristina has a broad range of private and public experience, having previously worked in the areas of Family & Estate Law, Construction Law, as well as for the Monroe County Attorney’s Office, and as a former prosecutor for the Miam-Dade State Attorney’s Office. She joined our founders at their legacy firm in 2024. Cristina‘s main practice areas are claims arising under the Defense Base Act and the War Hazards Compensation Act.

Cristina is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Florida.
