Christina P. House

Christina P. House

Associate Attorney

Christina House brings a dynamic blend of litigation, corporate, and financial services experience to her role as an associate attorney at Markovich Grover. She focuses on the defense of complex claims under the Defense Base Act, the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, and the Texas Workers’ Compensation Act.

Christina’s career before joining Markovich Grover spanned both private practice and Fortune 100 institutions. She worked at Akerman LLP, where she represented financial institutions in high-stakes consumer finance litigation, defending claims under the Fair Housing Act, RESPA, TILA, FCRA, FDCPA, and TCPA.

She then advanced to a role in New York City, working with Blackstone as a contracts associate, where she drafted and negotiated non-disclosure agreements, managed information walls, and oversaw compliance with SEC reporting regulations — sharpening her expertise at the intersection of law, business, and regulatory frameworks.

Building on this foundation, Christina joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. in its Asset and Wealth Management division. There, she focused on contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and privacy oversight, as part of the Americas Asset Management Privacy Review Team. Her work ensured best practices and alignment with global standards across JPMorgan’s investment platforms.

Christina has also gained judicial experience through positions with Justice Terry Jennings at the First Court of Appeals of Texas and Judge Kenneth Hoyt at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas; those experiences gave her unique insight into both trial and appellate perspectives.

Christina earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2019, while obtaining a foundation from clerkships and practical training that continues to inform her practice today. Christina served on the Law Review, Executive Editorial Board while in law school. She is committed to delivering strategic advocacy and practical solutions for clients while advancing the firm’s innovative approach to defense litigation.

Christina is licensed to practice law in Texas.

Together, Markovich Grover’s Attorneys have a combined experience of over 100 years.
