Anjali Patel is an associate attorney at Markovich Grover. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia, where she served on her sorority’s Judicial Board and worked as a political survey researcher at UGA’s Survey Research Center. During college, Anjali participated in UGA’s Semester Abroad Program in Washington, D.C., where she interned for Congressman Hank Johnson in the U.S. House of Representatives. She also served as a public policy and advocacy intern at Dentons LLP while maintaining a full-time course load during her senior year. Following graduation, Anjali participated in UGA’s South Africa Maymester Program, where she engaged in service-learning initiatives in local townships and studied South African political structures as an exchange student at Stellenbosch University. 

Anjali earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center. While in law school, she was a member of the Law Center’s Moot Court and Alternative Dispute Resolution teams. She gained valuable legal experience through internships with the Texas Fourteenth Court of Appeals, Harris County District Attorney’s Office, and the Founders’ legacy firm, developing interests in both civil and criminal litigation.

During her final semester of law school, Anjali studied abroad in Tokyo, Japan through an exchange program with Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. While in Tokyo, she interned with TMI Associates, one of Japan’s largest law firms, where she worked with the firm’s corporate practice group and gained exposure to international mergers and acquisitions transactions. This experience provided her with insight into cross-border legal practice and global business culture.

Anjali is licensed to practice law in Texas.
