Alejandra Celis Tolentino is an associate attorney at Markovich Grover. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at San Antonio, then her Doctor of Jurisprudence with Honors from St. Thomas University College of Law. Alejandra earned an LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center. She received honorary recognition from the Association of SEC Alumni (ASECA) for her extensive work during her time with the Commission and involvement with Georgetown University Law Center.
Prior to joining the founders at their legacy firm, Alejandra’s practice focused on securities regulations and financial market regulations. She worked several years for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (S.E.C.) Division of Exams and Division of Enforcement. Her practice now focuses on the defense of claims arising under the Defense Base Act.
Alejandra is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is affiliated with the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division.
Alejandra is licensed to practice law in Florida and is pending admission to New York.
