Madeleine “Maddie” Westrup is an associate attorney at Markovich Grover. Before earning her law degree, she studied jazz performance at Berklee College of Music and completed her undergraduate studies at Belmont University. While at Belmont, she gained hands-on industry experience through internships with organizations such as The Ryan Seacrest Foundation, independent record labels, and entertainment law firms.
Maddie earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law Houston, where she served on the boards of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and the Immigration Law Society and was an active member of the Hispanic Law Students Association. She was also a CALI Award recipient for her paper examining the intersection of artificial intelligence and copyright law.
As an attorney, Maddie has experience in multiple practice areas, including insurance claims under the Defense Base Act and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, as well as trusts, estates, and probate matters.
Maddie is licensed to practice law in Texas, is a certified mediator, and is an active member of the Garland R. Walker American Inn of Court.
