Emily Demeris

Emily (Emmy) Demeris is an associate attorney at Markovich Grover.

Emmy earned her Bachelor of Science in Educational Psychology, with minors in Human Resource Development and Sociology, from Texas A&M University. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law Houston. There, Emmy participated in the Moot Court Advocacy Program and was a member of the Women’s Law Society, Family Law Society, and Texas Aggie Bar Association. Throughout law school, she interned for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas under the Honorable Dena Palermo.

Emmy practiced family law before joining the Markovich Grover founders at their legacy firm. Emmy’s practice now focuses on claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Defense Base Act.

Emmy is licensed to practice law in Texas.
